HealthCare Resources Puerto Vallarta supports all initiatives in this area and is proud to be working together with Oscar and Keith to provide various dates throughout the whale watching season where a portion of each ticket sold will go to benefit three different charities.
The charities chosen this year are the Street Children of Puerto Vallarta, Beca's Vallarta and Los Mangos Library.
Street Children of Puerto Vallarta: Children end up on the streets for a number of reasons with the most common reason being poverty. For some of those that are picked up on the street by Child Protective Services, their needs are overwhelming, from school supplies to vaccines. The ability to purchase these day-to-day needs for the street children is a daily struggle.
Beca’s Vallarta: Education must be the key to living a productive and satisfying life. Scholarships are awarded to top students in the area who meet set qualifications and who would otherwise not have the opportunity of a good, solid education. Beca’s Vallarta has worked and continues to work with literally 1,000’s of children, ensuring a bright and promising future for many young people in our area.

Los Mangos Biblioteca: A true and vital “community center” the local library provides local culture, books, movies and specialized programs for the people of Puerto Vallarta. The new Children’s Library (Esquina de Sally) promises to bring even more children through the Los Mangos doors.
